Ladies, Gentlemen, rats and pointy eared folk. As you know I’ve been looking into the circumstances around the death of the Green Tide Titans player, Big Mo. After weeks of going over the evidence and interviewing key witnesses, my erstwhile colleague, April and I have come to the following conclusions.
This was indeed a murder.
The initial blame and culpability landed squarely on Big Mo’s former team mate, Gorbag Marlarr. It’s with great pleasure I can say that we have removed Gorbag Marlarr from our investigation and can confirm he is not on our list of suspects.
As we progressed through the information, it became clear that there really was only one individual with sufficient motive, cause and capability to carry through the deed.
As you may recall, the season in question was not one of the teams greatest, in fact there was a steady decline in results after one game in particular. We then found that the following matches had indeed been hampered by suspicious activity. During the game against the Walking Dead Reanimated, the Titans were sluggish in the tackle and unable to stop a simple relay from resulting in a touchdown. Further investigations revealed that the pre match grog had been spiked with an unusual agent usually reserved for creating mutations, however the result on Orcish genepools merely makes them less responsive. Other games showed that there had been tripwires placed in end zones, armour links hidden and replaced with inferior quality and other shenanigans.
In the process of our investigation we then turned to motive. Who would want to kill Big Mo. Naturally the immediate suspicion fell on Gorbag, with the additional information we got from what we now know to be compromised sources however we now know that the evidence found at the scene of the crime has been proven to not come from an orcish hand. There were trace elements of soot amongst some other strange findings. The cigar left at the scene was a decoy…
This panel finds Coach More Shots culpable for the murder of Maurice Fa’savaalu. The clear motive of bitterness at defeat at the hands of the Titans and the only deaths to the team suffered in their history emboldened Coach Shots to strike.
The tipping point appears to have been when the Power Hour logo was torched by a fireball in the last turns of the season 5 match up. Not only delivering disrespect but also destroying the Power Hour stadium in the same fell blow.
We caught up with the Skaven accomplice who clearly implicated Coach Shots as his shadowy sponsor. In addition to that items have been seized from the third Power Hour stadium detailing the extensive research into crossbows and troll regeneration.
We hereby call on the Altdorf Guard to put a warrant out for the arrest of known criminal Coach More Shots aka Don Jamaica.”
A number of large figures at the back of the crowd headed out in a hurry. Destination… Known.
